What is Everledger

Everledger is the digital transparency company, providing technology solutions to increase transparency in global supply chains. Overview

A supply chain builder is a software tool or platform that enables users to create and manage supply chains. It typically allows users to design and customize their supply chain according to their specific business needs, from the sourcing of raw materials to the delivery of finished products to customers.

Problem Statement

1. How might we design a seamless and intuitive platform that enables owners and contributors to collaborate efficiently on creating and managing supply chains, while providing clear visibility and accountability for all involved parties?

2. The platform needs to facilitate smooth self-onboarding for both owners and contributors, guiding them through the process of creating and managing supply chains, and completing tasks assigned to them. It should provide clear and concise communication channels between owners and contributors, enabling them to invite and onboard known suppliers to specific supply chain stages.

3. The platform should also have an easy-to-use interface that enables contributors to add asset and event data efficiently and accurately, while providing owners with real-time visibility into the progress of supply chain hops. It should allow owners to review and mark supply chains as complete when they are satisfied with the data provided by contributors.

4. Overall, the platform should focus on enhancing the user experience of owners and contributors, making it easy for them to collaborate and achieve their goals without unnecessary complications or confusion.

5. The wool traceability solution, also known as the supply chain builder, represents a highly intricate and advanced technology developed by Everledger. In our research, we have discovered that there are no existing processes or data identification methods capable of being traced by a single owner in real-world scenarios.

Responsibility

I played a key role in conducting user research using various methods such as user interviews, workshops, and surveys. Based on the insights gathered, I developed user flows, created information architecture, and designed low and high fidelity prototypes of the platform. I also conducted usability testing to ensure that the platform met the user's needs and expectations. Throughout the design and development process, I collaborated with cross-functional teams including product, tech, and stakeholders to bring the platform to life.

Usability Test results

The purpose of this test was to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of our product from the user's perspective. We asked a diverse group of participants and carefully designed our test scenarios to reflect real-world usage. The results of the test were overwhelmingly positive, with participants finding the product easy to use, intuitive, and efficient.

The feedback we received has allowed us to identify areas for improvement and refine our design to better meet the needs of our users. Overall, this successful usability test is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team in creating a user-centered design.
